OK – we promised to update this page at some point, so here it is.

First kiss

The wedding went off without a hitch (ha ha – see, that’s funny because we were already technically hitched in August… get it? get it? Maybe I should have some coffee).

Actually, the wedding was amazing. We were overwhelmed at the amount of help and participation from our family and friends, and even though we didn’t get to eat much, we hear that the food was delicious (don’t feel too bad, there wasn’t really any room for food in my dress). This ceremony was important to us because we wanted to celebrate with the communities who have made us who we are, and we believe that marriage is a bit about community. We have so many to thank for helping us put it all together, and despite our lengthier than planned thank-you speech, we even managed to miss a couple of people! We apologize to those people (I think you know who you are), and we hope you know how much we appreciate your help.

One thing we wanted to include on this page (because people asked for them) were the introductions for the wedding party, but unfortunately, I have misplaced my flash drive. I can watch the amazing DVD that Peter put together and transcribe the intros, but er… I kind of have a lot of things to do these days that aren’t that. Here’s a nice picture, anyway.

Our amazing wedding party

And, what the heck, here’s another one:

At the clock tower

By the way, a couple of people asked about our lovely photographer, Kate. She takes wonderful images, but even better, her bubbly personality makes her a joy to know. Her website is: .

We had a wonderful day, and we will treasure the memories forever. Thank-you all so much.

With love

    Hi John and Cindy,

Sorry we can’t make it! In fact, I’m really sorry to have discovered today that Jennifer and I each thought the other had RSVP’ed. D’oh! Huge apologies for leaving it up inthe air for you like that!

Best wishes to the happy couple, and for the conversion to the country life!
